Decadent Chocolate Fudge Cake: A Step-by-Step Guide

  • While the cake is baking, you can begin preparing the chocolate sauce. Heat the whipped cream in a small saucepan until small bubbles form along the edges, being careful not to boil.
  • Pour the hot whipped cream over the remaining dark chocolate, let it sit for a minute, then whisk until smooth.
  • Once the cake is baked and completely cooled, spread the chocolate sauce evenly over the top of the cake and let it run naturally to form a beautiful covering.
